Missing Europa: Her Exit
Working as a collective, we explore belonging and attempt to situate ourselves within an increasingly individualistic and globalised society. In order to navigate belonging, when belonging is defined by the examination of similarity and difference, we look at how we belong and contribute to a collective as individuals from different cultures, as a Greek economic immigrant and a British national living in Britain.
To explore these ideas, we create physical spaces, by constructing places to invite conversation and investigation; create collective environments and social relations, in our later work, immaterial spaces, in which two individual images, voices, music scores and movements meet to create a new, plural outcome. It is within this plural outcome that a balance between similarity and differences emerge.
